The non-governmental organization "Horizon of Changes" has been operating in Central Ukraine since 2004. Until 2021, we were known as the NGO Moloda Cherkashchyna". In 2021, the organization developed a new 5-year development strategy and underwent a rebranding. Following the full-scale russian invasion, we remained in the Cherkasy region and continued our work, assisting IDPs, the military, civil society organizations, and local communities in overcoming the challenges of war.
We have extensive experience in developing and implementing various educational products. Since 2021, we have also been working on the psychological recovery of civic activists and strengthening their resilience. We are proud of our unique space for learning and recreation — Khata Skrayu in Kholodnyi Yar.
- Transparency: We are the first NGO in the Cherkasy region to start publicly publishing our annual reports since 2006. - Consistency: In our activities, direction, and principles. - Eco-consciousness: We respect the individual within their environment and the environment that surrounds them. - Responsibility: We always deliver high-quality results in the work we undertake. - Professionalism: We continuously improve our team's expertise in the areas we work in.

The idea emerged to unite youth non-governmental organizations into the "Youth of Cherkasy Region" (Moloda Cherkashchyna) Coalition. Thirty-two NGOs became the founding members of this coalition!
On January 8, the Coalition of Youth Non-Governmental Organizations “Moloda Cherkashchyna” was officially registered. Interestingly, by pure coincidence, this date is also the birthday of Viktoriia Feofilova, who has been leading the organization since 2006!
We prepared the Khata Skrayu space for its first large-scale event: an international youth camp featuring guests from five different countries! Since then, it has hosted educational and cultural events every summer, and since 2021, it has served as our dedicated retreat center.
We began developing the Creators of the Future network of politically active youth. This program ran until 2019 and nurtured dozens of young activists and politicians across four central regions of Ukraine.
The POLITproSVIT project was launched, bringing together dozens of diverse events and hundreds of participants to discuss a wide range of politics-related topics.
We held a strategic planning session and decided to rebrand! The organization was officially renamed "Horizon of Changes", adopting a new mission and a new logo — the sun rising over the horizon!
The organization resiliently met the challenges of the full-scale invasion. We secured funding from international partners, launched crowdfunding campaigns, assisted the military and Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), and delivered dozens of humanitarian aid shipments. During this year, our organizational priorities temporarily shifted toward humanitarian response.
We returned to what we do best: refining our mission and priorities, we set the goal of strengthening the resilience of Ukraine's civil society sector, which is making an incredible contribution to preserving our statehood during wartime. We launched new services for CSOs, including online training, consultations, and mentorship support. We also introduced annual retreats for civic activists and volunteers.
