Services our organization provides for Ukrainian organizations, institutions, and businesses.
Organizing and Facilitating Forums, Trainings, and Seminars
Educational events focusing on advocacy, civic participation, grant writing, project management, social cohesion, as well as women’s, youth, and political leadership.
Specifically, we have developed the following training programs: Grant Writer’s Course, Grant Project Management, Train the Trainer Course, School of Advocacy, School of Elections, School of Critical Thinking, School of Civic Participation, Women’s Political Studies, and Project Design: From Idea to Project.
We can work with any number of participants in both online and offline formats. We organize turnkey educational events—handling everything from participant selection and logistics (accommodation, meals) to content development—both in Cherkasy and other regions of Ukraine. We have experience training diverse age groups and audiences: youth, educators, local council deputies, local government officials, and CSO (Civil Society Organization) representatives.
Duration: 1 to 6 days.
Result: You receive effective, high-quality educational events that significantly enhance participants’ knowledge, skills, and competencies in the selected topics.
Consultations on Project Development and Grant Writing
Consultations for CSOs, as well as educational and cultural institutions. During the consultations, we can structure or refine a project idea, proofread a drafted grant application before submission, or analyze why your previous grant applications were not supported.
This service is highly useful for both beginner grant writers and experienced ones experiencing a “creative block.”
Duration: From 1 hour per consultation.
Result: A ready-to-use project idea, an improved grant application, or a list of actionable recommendations (depending on the request).
Organizing Retreats
A retreat involves a multi-day immersion into oneself and nature in a specially equipped space in the heart of Kholodnyi Yar, Cherkasy region — Khata Skrayu. The program is filled with activities aimed at restoring the body, emotions, and mind: psychotherapeutic sessions, master classes, walks through historical areas, conversations by the fire, physical exercises, and cultural entertainment. Horseback riding, pottery, musical practices, authentic singing, culinary arts — we tailor everything to individual tastes and needs.
We know how emotionally exhausted civic activists can be, so we know how to gently care for your recovery. We have been conducting retreats since 2021!
Duration: 3 to 6 days.
Result: Increased energy levels, clarity of thought, restored emotional balance, and renewed attention to one’s own needs and desires.
Organizing Networking and Experience Exchange
We help organizations meet each other, build relationships, exchange best practices, and create joint initiatives and projects. If you are building or developing a CSO network, this service is exactly for you!
How it works: You set the task—who needs to connect with whom and on what topic—and we propose a convenient format. This could range from study visits to several communities (to explore successful practices) to a networking/team-building retreat in a picturesque location for all participants.
Duration: From two days to a week.
Result: Organizations meet, establish personal contacts, share successful practices, discuss shared challenges, generate new ideas, and plan joint initiatives/projects.
Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Services
We help both develop a monitoring plan from scratch and implement it during project execution. How do you verify whether you have achieved the qualitative and quantitative indicators and the impact specified in your grant project? From what sources and by what methods should this information be collected? How do you write a compelling, data-driven results report? Our experts know the answers to all these questions and will assist you in setting up your M&E: either as consultants or as direct implementers.
Duration: Depends on the duration of the project.
Result: You receive a comprehensive M&E plan and a final monitoring and evaluation report for the donor, complete with all supporting documentation.
Mentorship Support
Organizing mentorship support for civic activists or organizations that require organizational, methodological, and psycho-emotional support on their development path.
We offer individual matching of mentors, development of growth plans, facilitation of communication between mentors and mentees, and reporting on mentoring sessions.
Duration: 3 to 6 months.
Result: You develop under the guidance of a more experienced mentor who keeps you on track, prevents procrastination, and helps you achieve your specific goals.
Project Pitching
We offer the selection of experienced experts (3-5 people), the organization of the pitching process (online or offline), and the preparation of structured feedback. This service is a great addition to educational projects that involve participants developing their own project ideas. It allows beginners to gain practical experience presenting their projects and receiving feedback from grantmakers, subject-matter experts, or project management specialists.
Duration: 1 month (encompassing preparation, execution, and finalization of results).
Result: Participants gain a clear understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of their projects, avenues for improvement, and strategies for developing partnerships and securing funding.
Strategic Sessions
Our facilitators will help organize the strategy development process for your organization, helping you understand your vision for the future, work through various scenarios, formulate a mission, and focus on key areas of activity. This service is essential for both young organizations charting their path and established ones that have lost their bearings and need to redefine their focus. The service may include a preliminary assessment of the organization’s needs (via surveys or interviews) and the facilitation of live meetings. Additional online consultations can be provided if needed.
Duration: Preliminary phase – two weeks; main session – two (ideally three) days.
Result: You receive digitized needs assessment results, a SWOT analysis of the organization, a 2–5 year strategic plan, and a solid foundation for your operational plan for the upcoming year.
